Miley Cyrus stepped on the Billboard Music Awards stage with a brand new look and a brand new attitude. His new clip Malibu is the flawless example: virgin outfit, serene face and relaxing landscapes, an atmosphere at the antipodes of his previous album.
Last night was a really emotional night for music as the 2017 Billboard Music Awards took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Noah Cyrus joked that sister Miley was performing "with trousers on".
It also featured an off-the-shoulder top with puffy sleeves that was knotted at her tummy and high-waisted, Daisy Duke shorts.
She broke down towards the end of her performance of the song, inspired by her renewed romance with 27-year-old actor Liam Hemsworth.
"Kill would be 'Wrecking Ball.' That's something you can't take away ― swinging around naked on a wrecking ball lives forever", she explained.
"That's not weird in Malibu", says Cyrus. Nicki Minaj mysteriously smiled during Miley Cyrus' performance at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, and fans are freaking out.
"I think luck has so much to do with my success with a little bit of something thrown in", she added.
"I feel like your dancing has changed. I'm just so excited to be here and be able to give it back to her".
Celine belted out My Heart Will Go On as screens behind her showed footage of Titanic, to celebrate the song's 20th anniversary.
Miley, who notoriously does not walk red carpets, is definitely joined tonight by her parents and sisters.
"I like to surround myself with people that make me want to get better, more evolved, open".
Miley had signed with RCA Records and began working with bigger producers such as Pharell Williams to put out her fourth album, "Bangerz".
