Prosecutors say they'll retry Bill Cosby

Bill Cosby's spokesman then said "Mr. Cosby's power is back", which is a frightening choice of words considering the man was just on trial for sexual assault and no verdict was delivered. Count 3 alleges all this happened after he gave her an intoxicant that substantially impaired her and stopped her from resisting. The defense tried to block the deposition from trial, but since there was no written agreement in 2005 with then D.A. Bruce Castor not to charge Cosby, he agreed to the deposition. His lawyer says Cosby and Constand were lovers sharing a consensual moment of intimacy. Constand was not alone in accusing the star of sexual assault, as many as 60 women have come forward since 2014.

Troiani acknowledged the difficulty of the case, given the passage of time and the impact of the alleged drugging on Constand's ability to recall details.

Cosby's team immediately went on the attack.

When asked about Cosby's statement during a press conference, Montgomery County, PA District Attorney Kevin Steele responded, "I'm not going to talk about Camille Cosby". She called the media blatantly vicious.

'How do I describe the judge? He is free on $1 million bail. "It has been restored".

She also did not mention that cheating Cosby himself in his own previous agreement with Constand admitted he provided her with pills to relax and engaged in sex with her. He also found success with his "Fat Albert" animated TV show and starred in commercials for Jell-O pudding. Cosby is also facing lawsuits from numerous 60 other women who have accused him of similar charges to Constand's. Constand says the star drugged and molested her in 2004 at his home outside of Philadelphia. Prosecutors have suggested he gave her something stronger, possibly quaaludes.

The Huffington Post reports that after spending over 52 hours deliberating, the jurors told the judge that they were unable to reach a unanimous decision. When they told the judge Saturday morning they were still deadlocked, he declared a hung jury and a mistrial. And so I don't - you know, I don't have, you know, some direct response to her. "I remind everyone that this is not vindication or victory".

It's unclear if more than one juror was a hold out.

Each of the three counts carries a standard sentence range of five to 10 years in prison.

Camille's statement read: "How do I describe the District Attorney?"

"I hope that the prosecution will try this case again and that the next time the court will permit more prior bad act witnesses to testify, as the prosecution had requested for this trial", she said.

"We felt really good about the case" when it closed, Steele said.
