Galaxy Note 8
Now, there's a new Note about to hit shelves. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be initially available for pre-orders in the U.S. starting August 24 via various carriers. The Galaxy Note 8 is literally a Galaxy S8+, but with a Stylus support and dual rearcamera.
Display: The Galaxy Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch (18.5:9) Quad HD+ Super AMOLED edge-to-edge infinity display. The display is similar to the Galaxy S8 but in a less curvy form. The display is 0.1 inches bigger than the S8+ as well as the largest Note device ever made. That means the overall device is still rather compact.

The Galaxy Note 8'sS Pen comes with a finer tip and offers improved pressure sensitivity as well. However, you can also use an iris scanner to unlock your phone. Not much has changed here compared to older Note devices. "The success of the Note 8 is essential for us to regain the trust of our customers". Samsung has opted for a smaller 3300mAh battery and has subjected the handset to an 8 point battery safety check, just like it did with the S8 and S8+.
Another highlight of the Note 8 is the S-Pen that the phone comes out with. The device, featuring a dual camera, and IP68 certified water and dust resistant design, will go on sale on September 15, 2017. Unlike other smartphones with a dual-camera setup, both the sensors on the Galaxy Note 8 feature optical image stabilization. In simpler terms, you get 2x lossless zoom and the two sensor can combine to create a bokeh effect while or after you have taken a photograph. The wide-angle lens features the Dual Pixel 12MP image sensor with 77-degree field of view and with a sharp aperture of F1.7. The Galaxy Note8 will launch with Android 7.1 Nougat along with Samsung's TouchWiz skin. Specifically, Samsung will knock up to $425 off the Note 8 with a trade-in. And Galaxy Note 8 is loaded with 64GB of storage for apps and more, so it will take a while before you have to start deleting the non-essential ones (games) on your phone. It'll cost you a pretty penny, though. Pre-orders kick off tomorrow, on August 24, and there's a freebie included, a Gear 360 camera or a 128GB microSD coupled with a fast wireless charger. And there are more places in the system where you can use handwriting now, including messaging.
