iPhone 8 Wireless Charging May Charge it Quite Slowly, May Require Wired Charger For Fast Charging

With Apple, Samsung under pressure to amaze, what new smartphone features will we see later this year?

The news portal reports that the upcoming product would be launched with more than $1000 price tag, for the first time.

Apple has reportedly scheduled a product launch event for September 12, fueling speculation about the release date of new iPhone and other products customers have been waiting for.

Those involved in the event were notified last week about the September 12 event, according to 9to5 Mac, an Apple rumor and news website.

This means that while the iPhone 8 would indeed have wireless charging features, users of the device would have to get used to some seriously slow-speed charging.

While the Apple Watch Series 3 and 4K-capable Apple TV is something that we will be looking forward to, Apple's bread is butter has always been the iPhone and after maintaining a tiresome smartphone design for the longest time, it is time for something new. A number of new features have been speculated to arrive on the new iPhone including a bezel-less display and 3D face recognition in addition to wireless charging.

How Apple will end the fiscal year will all depend on the success of the iPhone 8.

Apple is planning to launch the iPhone 8, Apple Watch 3 LTE and 4K Apple TV in three weeks, according to a new report today.

Apple is expected to introduce three new iPhones as well as several new Apple Watch models.

If true, it's not exactly surprising since Apple is notorious for wanting to keep things in the family and not play nice with others. Thus, these new rumors about third-party wireless chargers being incompatible with the iPhone 8 are quite plausible.

There has been speculation for months now that when Apple Inc.

Hints from within Apple's supply chain suggest that the Californian firm could be about to follow suit - and rumours about a glass back on the new iPhone chime with this. Apple is also expected to showcase the iOS 11, the next major version of its mobile operating system that will debut alongside the next iPhones.

Simply put, because Apple is charging more for the device, it can cram in more expensive components without hurting the company's overall gross profit margin profile.
