Both phones feature what's called an "Active Edge", which is in essence Google's take on the HTC U11's squeezable sides. So, we have a "new era of Android Smartphones, opening up new ways to experience the world".

In short: You need an Android phone, and iPhone users aren't welcome. The new devices come with 6-inch and 5.5-inch displays. The rest is the same.

The Pixel 2 will start at $649 and pre-orders open today.

Pixel 2 comes in just black, clearly white and kinda blue colours while Pixel 2 XL has just black and black and white variants.

What else new, though?

Google, at its core, is a software company, so it's no surprise the Pixelbook comes with Google Assistant built-in. They will then also get a free Google Home Mini (worth United States dollars 49.99).

Google on Wednesday unveiled Pixelbook, the first Chromebook - or laptop - with Google Assistant built in. You can also touch the right earbud to activate Google Assistant, which can help you with directions or read your latest text message. In terms of display, the Pixel 2's 5-inch AMOLED has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a full-HD resolution.

The 64GB version of Pixel 2 XL is priced at Rs 73,000 and the 128GB will be available for Rs 82,000. The new Daydream View headset goes on pre-order later today, alongside the Google Home Mini. "The device has a 12.3" backlit QuadHD LCD touchscreen with 235PPI in a variety of configurations including Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

Google already has its Home speaker and now this popular voice-powered device is getting a smaller and much bigger brother. The first generation was so excellent in its camera and software implementation that I've used it non-stop since I got it at launch a year ago. Just like Apple's HomePod, the Home Max can tune itself for the room it's placed in using a machine learning feature called Smart Sound. The Pixel phones come with a slew of AR-stickers. That means popular mobile-focused services like Snapchat and Spotify will work on the device, Google said.

Google Clips is a hands free camera, coming soon.
